MY EXPERIENCE DURING THE NOVEMBER DISASTER

My village is very beautiful. My village located near a mountain but 2025 November 27 was a bad day for my village. That day I stayed in my home with my relatives. November 27 strong wind blew and the 6 cocount trees at my home fell. It is very scary moment. I thought we were all going to die at that time. It rain very hard that night  but we were lucky that night.



That day in my village seven members of the same family died when a huge rock fell in there house. It was very sad incident of our village .The next day I went to the see the accident. I thought life is too short then I saw that accident because three month old baby had died in a landslide. It was  it is a very unfortunate incident in our village.

 In our village many people lose they families, there lands and there houses. They lose everything. That time period they were at safe camps. Rich people helped them. That time period in my house lost electricity, sell phone signal and water. It wad very hard time for our village bur we work together and helped everyone.






The village damaged by the landslide. We lose many relatives and friends on that disaster. My best friend`s father died by landslide on November 27 night. I`m very sad about that.

      👪 There a four person in my family. They are me, my father and my younger brother. My father`s name is Chndrasena and my brother`s name is Tharaka. We are a small family.  My mother`s name is Ariyawathi. The heroine of my life is my mother. She is a very courageous woman. She died in 2021 due to the corona pandemic.   Anuradhapura is historical place for our country. Anuradhapura is old Sri Lankan kingdom. Lots of kings are control the Anuradhapura. Anuradhapura is located at north central province. Anuradhapura is one of ancient capitals in Sri Lanka. Lots of people are coming to Anuradhapura because Anuradhapura is very ancient city. Now Anuradhapura is UNESCO heritage site.
